Roger, Margaret and Jane’s bathroom renovations in Manotick
This week we start a two-bathroom renovation in Manotick for Rogers and Margaret, and their daughter Jane. Don’t worry, their house has five bathrooms.
The family has just moved to Ottawa from Toronto and we met through our incredible wedding photographer, Liz Bradley. Thank you for recommending Fresh Reno!
Day 1: Jane’s bathroom before demolition. Note the shower tiles reflected in the mirror.
Day 1: Roger and Margaret’s massive 12 x 16 ensuite bathroom before demolition.
Day 7: Margaret and Roger’s ensuite bathroom is drywalled.
Day 12: Shower tile for Jane’s bathroom is underway. She’s chosen 12 x 12 marble tiles. The detail is stunning.
Day 15: Warmly Yours under tile heat system for Roger and Margaret’s ensuite bathroom.
Day 15: Stunning marble tiles in Jane’s bathroom are grouted.
Day 17: Roger and Margaret’s en-suite floor tile almost done. Arkim Collection 24×24 porcelain.
Margaret and Roger (current clients) kindly took Heather and me to lunch before the renovation started. Margaret and Heather immediately bonded over all things gardening and decorating, and I have since become their courrier—bringing plants and magazines back and forth. This time Heather is sending a chunk of winter-hardy Prickly Pear cactus to Margaret. Yup, this cactus lives outdoors all year round.
